Our Story
As the world went into lockdown in March 2020, we decided to make the most of a difficult situation. We wanted to create something to make the world a better place, so started developing an idea - then YFROG emerged!
Our mission is to develop young adult's skills to increase their confidence, ability to engage with others, deal with conflict and improve their decision making.
We have personal experience of the impact of poor conversations, so started to wonder what the world would look like if everyone had better conversations - how much more thoughtful would people be and what difference would that make?
It stands for Yellow Frog which came right out of the blue. It could have been called 'Caribbean Reef Squid'...don't ask!
The images show the creative journey we took to find a character that we feel represents our view of Courageous Conversations.
It's been such a fun journey so far, and we look forward to connecting with other like-minded people to develop the ideas and have more Courageous Conversations in the world.
You'll notice our main position is the Victory pose, which is usually seen by people winning and raising their arms up, making a Y-position. We want to make this project successful and change the way people interact with each other.
